Reading at Chorlton Park

We have made reading a special focus this year. We are putting together a programme of events and information designed to fire up all our children’s interest in books.

Staff, governors, the PTA and parents are working together to present visits from poets, writers and illustrators; story selling sessions; workshops; competitions; blogs and a readathon.

    We had a great evening listening to all the budding poets in school.
    Can anyone recommend some good poetry books?
